Each double-screw extruder shall be checked for foreign matters inside the barrel, above and inside the hopper before starting. Check whether the fixing bolts of each part are loose, whether the safety cover is secure, and whether the switch positions of each button are correct. Then add lubricating oil to all lubricating parts to clean the equipment.
When you are ready to double-screw extruder start, please inform the staff around the equipment.
Start the motor for driving screw rotation at low speed, and check whether the pointer of the working ammeter of the main motor swings normally. In case of abnormal sound or unsmooth screws during equipment operation, stop the double-screw extruder machine immediately and ask relevant personnel for repair.

The driving and debugging of screw holes shall not exceed 30min. All the normal installation of molds for production products and the installation of connecting bolts for molds shall be carried out. Molybdenum disulfide or silicon oil shall be coated before use to facilitate disassembly.
At the initial stage of supply and production, the screws work at the copper speed, and the phase materials should be small and even. Check whether the pointer of the working ammeter of the motor driving the screw rotation changes abnormally at any time.
After the double-screw extruder is put into normal production, workers should often check the temperature change of the bearing. Check the temperature of the motor and each bearing part with fingers, and gently touch the inspected part. Do not touch any rotating parts with hands during double-screw extruder equipment operation.

Double-screw extruder has the advantages of strong adaptability, sliding conveying and self-cleaning, but its structure is complex, its investment cost is high, and the corresponding maintenance and operation costs are also high. Therefore, double-screw extruders are generally used in the production of aquatic products and pet feed with high added value, such as eel, turtle and juvenile feed, because the price of these products sold in the market is enough to repay the cost of double-screw extruder technology manufacturing products; In addition, some special aquatic feeds, such as micro aquatic feed (0.8~1.5mm in diameter), high-fat aquatic feed and feed with small production but constant formula change, also need to be produced by twin-screw extruder.
