YMP-III High-Temperature Drum Oven: High-Temperature Baking Equipment for Corn Flakes and Puffed Foods
The YMP-III high-temperature drum oven is used for high-temperature baking of puffed foods such as corn flakes. The material is uniformly fed into the screw conveyor through a hopper and a vibrating feeder. The hot air blower and circulation fan create a continuous hot air circulation, while the screw conveys and turns the material, ensuring more uniform heating in the high-temperature environment.
Main Technical Parameters
Production capacity of 80-250 kg/h, total power of 61.878 kW, including main drive power of 0.37 kW, vibrating feeder power of 8 W, circulating fan drive power of 0.75 kW, and heating power of 30 kW each for two hot air blowers. The baking operating temperature can reach 350°C, the hot air blower's maximum outlet air temperature is 400°C, and the overall dimensions are 3800×1000×2000mm.
Key Operational Points
The corn flake baking temperature is typically set to 240–280°C, with the main drive speed adjusted according to the heating chamber temperature and product requirements. Before the material enters the screw conveying chamber, it is recommended to control the moisture content to below 8% to prevent excessive steam from causing the material to adhere to the screw walls. The circulation fan must be started before initiating heating to prevent damage to the heating elements due to insufficient airflow.
Safety and Maintenance
Ensure reliable grounding during installation, and inspect the fasteners, electrical wiring, and cleanliness of the screw conveyor chamber before operation. After production is completed, first turn off the heating. The circulation fan must continue to run for at least 30 minutes, and can only be turned off once the temperature drops below 120°C.Power must be disconnected before maintenance.
