Double-head octagonal drum: Fully automatic batching, spraying, and seasoning line
The double-head octagonal drum seasoning line is used for the automatic multi-component batching, spraying, and seasoning of puffed snacks and snack products. It is also suitable for sugar coating and seasoning of peanuts and beans, as well as pre-molding sugar coating for certain products. The system consists of a feed elevator, automatic weighing feeder, dual-station octagonal drum, slurry tank, quantitative powder sprinkling and spraying vehicle, and discharge conveyor, enabling alternating cyclic seasoning of two sets of octagonal drums.
Automatic Seasoning Workflow
The feed elevator conveys the material into the automatic weighing feeder, which stops once the preset weight is reached. After the octagonal drum receives the material, the base rotates to the spraying station. After spraying is completed, powder is sprinkled, and then the base cylinder tilts the drum to discharge the material onto the discharge conveyor. After discharge, the octagonal drum returns to its initial position and begins the next cycle. The two sets of octagonal drums alternate between receiving material and seasoning, with the material drums rotating continuously during operation. A typical cycle lasts approximately 2 minutes.
Main Technical Parameters
The power of the feeding elevator is 0.37 kW, and the lifting height is 2.7 m.The automatic feeding weighing hopper has a volume of 0.6 m³.The octagonal drum has a single drum volume of 89L, is made of 304 stainless steel, and operates at a speed of 30 rpm. The manual specifies that the drum rotation drive is 4×1.5kW, and the base drive is 0.75kW.The slurry tank has a volume of 200L, equipped with a 2kW heating system, a 0.37kW stirring system, and a 1.5kW slurry discharge system. The power of the quantitative flour sprinkling and spraying vehicle is 0.75 kW, the power of the discharge conveyor is 0.37 kW, and the conveyor belt width is 600 mm.
Installation, Commissioning, and Maintenance
The equipment should be installed on the floor or platform according to the layout diagram, with anchor bolts secured, and connected to the cable tray, compressed air supply, and material feeding pipelines.During commissioning, first jog each motor to confirm there is no collision, then calibrate the feeding scale and the powder-spraying cart's weighing hopper. After completing no-load linkage testing, proceed with material-loaded commissioning.Do not stand within the rotational radius of the octagonal drum during operation; The bearing, the three-piece pneumatic unit, and the solenoid valve should be maintained on a weekly basis, and the fixing bolts, chains, belts, and motor insulation should be regularly inspected.
