YP Tablet Press: Equipment for forming tablets from porridge, rice flakes, and corn flakes

The YP tablet press is used for the continuous pressing and shaping of products such as rice flakes, corn flakes, and other similar items.The raw material is extruded through the spherical die of the main extruder and rotary-cut into uniform puffed balls, which are then evenly fed into the pressure rollers via a pneumatic conveying system and a vibrating spreading machine. After being pressed into shape, the products are discharged by a conveyor.The equipment controls product thickness by adjusting the gap between the pressure rollers, making it suitable for extruded cereal flake production lines.

Main Technical Parameters

The main drive power is 30 kW, the conveyor drive power is 0.37 kW, the vibrating screen drive power is 2 units of 0.1 kW each, and the external small conveyor power is 0.75 kW.The roller diameter is φ420mm, with a speed of 0-85 rpm.The overall dimensions of the large tablet press are 1800×1700×1650 mm, and the equipment weighs approximately 4000 kg.

Installation and Molding Adjustment

The equipment should be installed on a flat, solid floor approximately 2-3 meters away from the main unit. The main unit, pneumatic conveying machine, and discharger of the tablet press must be securely connected.Before production, adjust the amplitude of the vibrating spreader according to the material state. The initial gap between the pressure rollers can be set to approximately 0.3–0.5 mm, and the gaps between the front and rear scrapers and the pressure rollers should also be adjusted.During production, fine-tune the roller gap based on the discharge conditions to achieve the required product thickness.

Safety and Maintenance

Do not insert your hands into the feed inlet while the equipment is in operation.Hard materials such as metal and stones must not be mixed into the material;Do not start the machine if the pressure roller guard is not installed.Before starting, clean the interior of the pneumatic conveying system and the discharger, ensure there are no hard objects, and verify the connections and direction of rotation before commencing production.
