SLG70-AC Twin-Screw Extruder: Versatile Food Extrusion and Puffing Equipment

The SLG70-AC twin-screw main unit is used for processing products such as puffed snacks, cereal granule porridge, flake porridge, cold food fillers, and solid powders.The raw materials enter the barrel through an automatic feeding device, where they are cooked and expanded under the combined effects of twin-screw conveying, mixing, shearing, heating, and high pressure. After extrusion through the die, the product is formed by the rotary cutting system.

Structure and Process Control

The main unit consists of a feeding device, an extrusion and puffing machine, a rotary cutting device, an electrical control cabinet, and a lubrication system. The heating zones of the barrel can be independently configured according to process requirements.During production, adjust the feeding rate, temperature zones, main machine speed, and rotary cutting speed in coordination with the raw material formula, moisture content, and product targets to ensure stable discharge and consistent product texture.

Startup and Maintenance

Before startup, inspect the barrel, screw, feeding system, and lubrication circuit. Upon starting, first turn on the oil pump and confirm that lubrication is normal, then start the main motor.Regularly inspect the distribution box, thrust box, reduction gear box, and rotary cutting blades; replace lubricating oil according to the prescribed schedule, and ensure that electrical wiring and grounding protection are reliable.
