SLG75 Twin-screw Extruder: Medium and Small-Sized Food Extrusion and Puffing Equipment
The SLG75 twin-screw extruder utilizes co-rotating twin-screw extrusion technology, designed for processing products such as puffed grain snacks, grain-based granular porridge, flaked porridge, cold-fill ingredients, and solid powders. The raw materials are fed into the barrel via a metering feeder, where they undergo cooking and extrusion under the combined effects of heating, conveying, mixing, shearing, and high pressure. The material is then extruded through a die and rotary-cut to form the target product.
Main Technical Parameters
Processing capacity of 200-250 kg/h, main drive power of 75 kW, heating power of 28.8 kW, slicing drive power of 1.5 kW, oil pump drive power of 0.75 kW, with variable frequency speed control. The overall dimensions of the extrusion main unit are 5070×1040×1320 mm, excluding the feeder platform.
Structure and Process Control
The main unit consists of a feeding device, an extrusion puffing machine, a rotary cutting device, an electrical control cabinet, and a lubrication system. The barrel heating is divided into six independent temperature zones, which can be adjusted separately according to the process requirements. The slicing length can be continuously adjusted within the range of 1-30mm, and the number of blades can be configured from 1 to 6.During production, the feed rate, main machine speed, temperature zones, and rotary cutting speed should be coordinated according to the raw material formula, moisture content, and product shape.
Startup and Maintenance
Before startup, inspect the barrel, screw, feeding system, and lubrication lines. The oil pump must be started and allowed to supply oil for 5 minutes before starting the main motor to avoid insufficient lubrication of the distribution box.Regularly inspect the condition of the distribution box, thrust box, reduction gear box, and rotary cutting blades, replace lubricating oil as required, and ensure that electrical connections are secure.
