SLG65-CII Twin-screw Extruder: Modular Food Extrusion and Puffing Equipment
The SLG65-CII twin-screw extruder is used for producing puffed snacks, cereal porridges, fillers, and other extruded food products. The equipment consists of a frame, a twin-screw feeding system, a main motor, a distribution box, a barrel, and a rotary cutting system. It adopts a modular screw configuration and a co-rotating meshing structure, allowing the screw configuration and process parameters to be adjusted according to the gelatinization, expansion, and shaping requirements of different materials.
Main Technical Parameters
Main motor power: 22 kW; feeding drive power: 0.55 kW; barrel heating power: 8 kW; rotary cutting drive power: 0.75 kW; oil pump power: 0.37 kW.Screw diameter φ65mm, L/D ratio 23:1, overall dimensions of the extrusion main unit 3096×1053×1717mm.
Structure and Process Control
The twin screws are composed of a core shaft, screw sleeve, shear ring, and kneading blocks, supporting various combinations. The twin-screw feeding system allows for adjustment of the feed rate through variable frequency control. The slicing length can be continuously adjusted within the range of 1-30mm, and the number of blades can be configured from 1 to 4.During production, the feeding rate, temperature zones, main machine, and rotary cutting speed should be coordinated in conjunction with the raw material formula, moisture content, and product shape.
Safety and Maintenance
Before startup, inspect the feeding system, barrel, screw, transmission, and oil circuit to ensure there are no foreign objects or abnormalities. Before maintenance, the power supply must be disconnected. Inspect the gearbox, bearings, screw assembly, rotary cutting blades, and electrical system at regular intervals, and ensure reliable lubrication and grounding protection.
