SLG65C Twin-Screw Extruder: Medium and Small-Scale Food Extrusion and Puffing Equipment
The SLG65C twin-screw extruder consists of an automatic feeding system, an extrusion puffing machine, a rotary cutting device, and an electrical control cabinet. It is suitable for the extrusion, cooking, puffing, and shaping of cereal and puffed food products. Raw materials are stably fed into the extrusion chamber via an adjustable feed screw. Under the mixing, shearing, and heating effects of the twin screws, the material is extruded through the die head and then cut into the desired shape by the rotary cutting device.

Main motor power: 22 kW; processing capacity: 80–120 kg/h; screw diameter: φ65 mm; screw speed: 0–250 rpm, with variable frequency speed control. Overall dimensions of the main unit: 2400 × 960 × 1800 mm. Automatic feeding motor power: 0.55 kW; rotary cutting motor power: 0.75 kW. Cut length is continuously adjustable from 2 to 30 mm.
Process and Shaping Adjustment
The equipment adapts to different raw materials and product size requirements through coordinated adjustments of feed rate, screw speed, temperature zones, and cutting speed. Before production, perform an empty-load inspection to confirm that the feeding system, barrel, screws, lubrication circuit, and electrical wiring are functioning normally, then gradually apply load according to the process parameters.
Maintenance Guidelines
The equipment is equipped with a forced lubrication and cooling distribution box. The lubrication circuit and lubrication status should be checked regularly. Regularly inspect the drive system, rotary cutting blades, and all fasteners. Power must be disconnected before any maintenance work.
