The SLG85-D twin-screw extruder is designed for the processing of puffed foods and related extruded products, featuring differential weight feeding, twin-screw extrusion, zoned heating and cooling, and a high-strength gearbox drive system.The differential weight feeding system forms a closed-loop control through weight feedback, enabling stable adjustment of the feeding speed.The modular screw assembly can accommodate the gelatinization, shearing, and puffing requirements of different materials.

Heating, Cooling, and Process Control
The system works in conjunction with a water tower to control barrel heating and cooling. Heating is divided into multiple independent zones, and the cooling water circuit is automatically started and stopped by solenoid valves based on temperature.During production, coordinate the differential weight feeding, temperature zones, cooling, and main machine speed according to the raw material formula, target product texture, and discharge state.
Operation and Maintenance
Before commissioning, inspect the hopper, feeder, barrel, screw, and lubrication system to ensure there are no foreign objects or abnormalities.Regularly inspect the gearbox, bearings, screw assembly, heating and cooling systems, and electrical controls. Before maintenance, ensure the power is disconnected and the equipment has cooled down.
