The CXD Multi-Function Shaping Machine-II is an auxiliary equipment for twin-screw extruded food production lines, used for trimming and cutting the food doughs extruded by the main machine, and can be adapted for products such as filled rings, filled patties, and wheat-flavored chicken nuggets.The equipment controls product thickness by adjusting the gap between the upper and lower pressure rollers, and offers two cutting methods—roll cutting and rotary cutting—which can be quickly switched via connectors.

They feature variable frequency speed control, and the overall dimensions are 1200×900×1300mm.

Commissioning and Production Control

The equipment is typically positioned approximately 1500 mm from the main unit.Before startup, adjust the gap between the upper and lower conveying rollers, set the gap between the cutting blade and the blade holder to approximately 0.01 mm, and confirm that there is no gap between the rotary cutting blade and the rubber roller.Check the rotation direction of the motors in the rolling and rotary cutting systems under no-load conditions.During production, adjust the guide and conveying speed to synchronize with the main unit's output, then adjust the cutter speed to achieve the target product length.

Safety and Maintenance

Do not touch the rollers or remove the protective cover during operation, and ensure the cutting blades do not come into contact with hard objects.Power must be disconnected before maintenance, and residual materials should be cleared when the equipment is not in use.Before switching between the rotary cutting and spinning cutting systems, ensure that shutdown and inspection procedures are completed in accordance with the equipment requirements.
