Vacuum Conveyor: Automatic Vacuum Conveying Equipment for Powders and Granules

The vacuum conveyor utilizes a vacuum pump to create negative pressure in the suction nozzle, suction pipe, and hopper, thereby drawing powders and granules into the system along with air. After gas-solid separation occurs within the hopper, the material is delivered to the receiving equipment.Feeding and discharging are cyclically controlled by a pneumatic three-way valve. The reverse-blowing device cleans the powder from the filter surface during discharge, making it suitable for the automatic feeding process in food, powder, and packaging equipment.

Installation and Operating Conditions

The equipment should be supplied with clean, dry compressed air, with the working pressure maintained at 0.4–0.6 MPa.The hopper can be fixed to the receiving equipment or the lifting trolley, and the hose between the suction nozzle, hopper, and vacuum pump should be securely connected with hose clamps.The control power supply must be equipped with a working neutral conductor and a protective earth conductor, and the equipment enclosure must be reliably grounded to minimize the impact of static electricity generated during material conveying on the control system.The feeding time can be set to 8-20 seconds based on site conditions, and the discharging time can be set to 4-8 seconds.

Cleaning and Fault Maintenance

When the feeding rate drops significantly, check the vacuum pump rotation direction, compressed air pressure, pipeline seals, hopper seal ring, and filter condition.The polyester laminated film or PE filter can be cleaned using a soft-bristle brush and compressed air;The stainless steel or titanium filter can be reinstalled after being cleaned with warm water or ultrasonically according to the instructions and thoroughly dried.Power must be disconnected during maintenance, and all components must be securely sealed.
