PC500 - Crusher: A screening and crushing equipment for granular materials

The PC500 Crusher is a specialized equipment designed for the crushing of granular materials, suitable for integration into food production lines and related material processing stages. The equipment further pulverizes granular materials through the combined action of blade cutting and screen grading, bringing the particle size closer to the requirements of subsequent processes. For production scenarios that require control of particle size, improvement of material uniformity, or preparation for subsequent batching, forming, and packaging, the selection of sieve hole sizes, the condition of the blades, and the operational stability of the crushing equipment are all critical.

What materials can the PC500 Crusher process?

This equipment is suitable for the grinding of granular materials.Different products have varying particle size requirements. The particle size after crushing can be controlled by replacing the appropriate sieve plate and adjusting the blade clearance.Actual screen hole specifications, blade clearances, and feeding rates should be determined based on material hardness, shape, moisture content, and target particle size, and should not be applied uniformly to all materials using a single parameter.

How to achieve a more consistent particle size?

Before equipment installation and trial operation, open the upper cover to clean the internal chamber and ensure that no residues or hard foreign objects remain. The gap between the blade and the screen plate can be initially adjusted to approximately 0.1 mm, and then fine-tuned according to the product shape and particle size requirements. After locking the upper cover, rotate the belt by hand to check for smooth operation, then connect the power supply for a trial run and confirm that the blade rotates in the correct direction.Stable blade clearance, appropriate sieve plates, and uniform feeding help reduce particle size fluctuations and maintain continuous production efficiency.

Main Technical Parameters

The PC500 Crusher has a main drive power of 11 kW, a production capacity of 500–1000 kg/h, overall dimensions of 1400×1200×2020 mm, and an equipment weight of approximately 900 kg.Actual output is influenced by material characteristics, target particle size, sieve plate specifications, and upstream feeding rate. When configuring the project, appropriate operating parameters should be determined in conjunction with the overall line capacity and downstream process requirements.

Key Points for Installation and Operation

The equipment should be installed on a flat, solid surface according to the production line layout, and the leveling feet should be adjusted to ensure the machine remains stable. After transportation, check whether the screws and fasteners are loose. The power supply side should be equipped with reliable grounding and electric shock protection devices to facilitate isolation from the mains during maintenance. Before trial operation, check whether the terminal connections are secure, whether the drive belt is functioning properly, and whether the powder chamber is clean. After confirming that the equipment is operating normally, proceed with formal production in stages.

Safety Usage and Maintenance Recommendations

Do not remove the protective cover during equipment operation. It is strictly prohibited to insert hands into the bottom of the powder chamber. The cutting blades must not come into contact with hard objects such as stones or metal. The machine should not run empty for extended periods.Routine maintenance should be performed after disconnecting the power supply, with regular inspections of the fixing bolts on the connecting flanges, bearing housings, and drive system. After a period of use, the blades should be promptly removed and sharpened. The bearings at both ends of the spindle must be lubricated according to a scheduled maintenance cycle, and the center distance and tension of the V-belts should be inspected. When the equipment is not in use, clean out the material inside to maintain the cleanliness of the equipment's interior.Dayi Machinery can provide equipment configuration recommendations for the crushing section based on the customer's material characteristics, target particle size, and the production capacity of the entire production line.
